==History==
Legend is that [[King]] [[Arthur]] pulled a sword from a stone to prove himself worthy to be king. The [[Glastonbury Cavern]] had a Sword in the Stone that appeared when someone entered the cave. {{Cite|SG1|Avalon, Part 1}} A person needed to pass one of the tests in the adjacent rooms to be able to pull the sword out. When removed a [[Knight]] appears and the sword holder has to defeat the Knight and put the sword back to gain access to the treasure. [[Cameron Mitchell]] passed one of the tests, removed the sword and defeated the Knight before returning the sword. {{Cite|SG1|Avalon, Part 2}} Another Sword in the Stone was in [[Camelot]] and young men becoming Knights would test themselves on it.
