Call forwarding device
Template:Technology A Call forwarding device is a device that prevent unauthorized Stargate travelers.
Overview
The device works with a Stargate to store incoming travelers in the buffer while it waits for an authorization signal. If it is not received the Stargate is dialed to a random address and the buffer it emptied, sending the travelers to that planet. Template:Cite
History
Anubis created the device and installed it in the Dial Home Device on P3X-584. It redirected Samantha Carter and SG-5 before it was discovered and a solution was found to send a signal to override the device. Carter examined the device and later reprogrammed it to send any travelers coming through to Earth. The device sent Khalek back to Earth when he tried to come through. Template:Cite
