Death glider

Template:Spaceship A Death glider is a small Goa'uld attack ship.

Overview

The ship can be used in atmosphere and in space. Some Death glider variants have an in-built Ring Transporter. The ships have Staff cannons installed that contains their own power source and can be detached to usage. Template:Cite The power plant doesn't exert force against gravity but rather inertia out of the equation to make the vessel fly. The power plant extends this to the pilots, making them immune to G-forces. Template:Cite Death gliders are much more maneuverable than an Al'kesh. History

Ra sent two death gliders to attack the Abydonians at Nagada for helping Jack O'Neill, Daniel Jackson and their team. The gliders later attacked others who were outside the Abydos Pyramid. Template:Cite Apophis sent a Ring Transporter death glider to the Stargate on Chulak allowing him and his entourage to get to the Stargate quickly; the death glider attacked SG-1 and several escaped prisoners before being shot down by SG-2. SG-1 and Bra'tac escaped Apophis' Ha'tak aboard two death gliders which were recovered by the Space Shuttle Endeavour. Template:Cite The gliders were kept and examined at Area 51.
