Overview
The device isn't powerful enough to transmit through subspace but connects to relay device on certain planets. It is activated when someone with the Ancient Technology Activation gene touches it. History
Teyla Emmagan had a necklace that used one of these devices. Template:Cite Keturah was given a transmitter to be used if Ronon Dex ever came back to his planet. Template:Cite After Teyla's necklace was discovered, it was used to set a trap for the Wraith and capture one. Template:Cite A transmitter bracelet on a dead Wraith on M7G-677 activated when the electromagnetic field it was in was disabled and a Wraith Probe was sent to investigate.
