==Biography==
He has a fear of [[Snake|snakes]]. {{Cite|SGU|Pain}} He was among those that evacuated through the [[Stargate]] to the [[Ancient]] ship [[Destiny]]. During an [[Nakai|alien]] attack, he witnessed the aliens cut through the hull and take [[Chloe Armstrong]]. {{Cite|SGU|Space}} When [[Nicholas Rush]] and some of the civilians took control of part of the ship, Dunning was caught on their side and drew his weapon on some of them. [[Tamara Johansen]] ordered him to stand down. They were locked up until [[Everett Young]] took back control. {{Cite|SGU|Divided}} He joined a team to go to a [[Eden|planet]] to gather supplies for a month. After arriving he told [[Doctor|Dr.]] [[Morrison]] to dig a latrine but Morrison refused. [[Ronald Greer]] told them both to do it and keep digging until they began to love it. {{Cite|SGU|Faith}} He was part of team that went to a [[Planet 1 (Pain)|planet]] and became affected by a [[Tick-like creature]]. Back on Destiny he began to hallucinate that something was in his arm. Eventually he began to hallucinate movement in his arm that he thought was snakes so he tore at the flesh to get them out. Dunning was against sharing their rations with the [[Lucian Alliance]] prisoners aboard. He joined a team aboard a [[Ancient Shuttle|shuttle]] to go to a [[Planet (Aftermath)|planet]] but it lost power on descent and they crashed on the surface. He remained with the shuttle and later helped [[Matthew Scott]] try to move some wreckage pinning [[Sergeant|Sgt.]] [[Hunter Riley]] down. {{Cite|SGU|Aftermath}} He joined a team to go aboard a [[Seed ship]] when Destiny docked with it.
