History

The Committee controlled the Rogue NID, wanting to use some of the technology that they recovered on commercial applications. They were responsible for at least ten new patents on industrial chemicals, metallurgy and computers. When Senator Robert Kinsey was going to reveal information on their activities, they sent Agent Mark Devlin, using a Mimic device to appear as Jack O'Neill, to assassinate him, and incriminate O'Neill in the process. After learning that Kinsey had survived, they sent Delvin again, using a mimic device to appear as Major Paul Davis, to kill him. Delvin came to report and they were planning on sending him to try to blackmail Major General George Hammond or kill him if he refused to go along with them, when it was revealed that Delvin was Samantha Carter who had captured Delvin and made a mimic device for him. The Committee was arrested by the National Intelligence Department. Template:Cite
