Edora

Template:Planet Edora is a planet in the Edoran System in the Milky Way galaxy and the homeworld of the Edorans.

Overview

The planet has Naquadah found throughout its soil, thrown up as a result of meteor strikes every 150 years. A single small village is situated on the planet. TTemplate:Cite

History

The Edorans were brought to Edora by the Goa'uld thousands of years ago but were left to fend for themselves at some point. Every 150 years, Edora was hit by meteor strikes and the people survived in caves to rebuild after each destruction. In 1999 SG-1 visited the planet. Two thirds of them evacuated through the Stargate to Earth to survive a meteor strike and returned over three months later when the Stargate was unburied on Edora.
