Netu was a moon of Delmak in the Milky Way galaxy.

Overview

The surface of Netu was covered in holes that allowed the molten core to be exposed. The atmosphere was filled with barely breathable toxins. History

The moon was once industrialized but when Sokar conquere Delmak, he turned the moon into a hellish prison. Bynarr was appointed as the Lord of Netu and oversaw the prisoners being held there, occasionally going to Delmak to tell Sokar about the suffering of his prisoners. Jolinar was sent here after being captured, but seduced Bynarr and used the Ring Transporter to escape. Jacob Carter was sent here when Sokar captured him and SG-1 and Martouf came to rescue him. The Tok'ra High Council sent Aldwin to Netu with a Tok'ra Chain reaction weapon to destroy the moon while Sokar was in orbit, taking him out in the process. After the weapon was launched, SG-1, Martouf and Jacob managed to escape.
