Sgt. Markham was a male Tau'ri, a member of the United States Marine Corps and a member of the Atlantis expedition.

Biography

He has the Ancient Technology Activation gene. He and Stackhouse accompanied Sheppard's team to a planet to gather intelligence on the Wraith. The team returned with John Sheppard having an Iratus bug attached to his neck, so Markham had to pilot the Jumper. They returned to the Spacegate slowly as Markham wasn't as proficient at flying. They began to enter but the drive pods hadn't retracted so the Jumper became lodged in the Event horizon, leaving Markam and Stackhouse dematerialized.
