Overview
The shuttles dock to docking sleeves on the Destiny and attach with docking clamps. If the clamps are not engaged, then the shield does not encompass it, meaning it will not be pulled with Destiny into FTL and be destroyed. History
One of the shuttles on Destiny received damage to one of its windows which was partially protected by a shield. The little air on the ship was being sucked out through the window. Senator Alan Armstrong sealed himself in the shuttle to keep air from being lost, and what little air in the shuttle was sucked out and he died. Template:Cite Another shuttle was found used to transport 17 people off of Destiny after it was found to be on a collision course with a star. Destiny instead used the star to recharge and the shuttle had to perform a slingshot maneuver around a planet to get back in time. Template:Cite Matthew Scott and Ronald Greer took a shuttle to defend Destiny from alien ships. Template:Cite A shuttle was used to transport people to a planet to collect supplies for a month. The second shuttle on Destiny was repaired enough for it to be taken down to the planet to be left for the few people who had decided to remain on the planet, but the shuttle wasn't able to exit the atmosphere due to its damage. Scott used a shuttle to deliver the Ancient Repair robot to the FTL engines. Template:Cite The last shuttle on Destiny was used to transport a team to a planet but it lost power during descent and crashed on the surface. Unable to be repair in time it was left there.
