History
Lucius Lavin found the herb and brought some back to his world where he baked it into some bread. He found that people started to like him more after he began eating the bread. He eventually used the herb to make a potion that he drank daily to keep the people liking him. The Wraith set up an outpost on the planet the herb grew and Lucius was no longer able to get any more. In 2006 he met Sheppard's team and went back to Atlantis where he began influencing people.
