Juna, alpha numeric designation P2X-729, is a planet in the Milky Way and the homeworld of the People of Juna.

Overview

The planet has a large pyramid surrounded by a small village. History

The planet was controlled by Heru'ur who ran a Naquadah mine here but hadn't been in generations. SG-1 came to the planet and helped the people overthrow Heru'ur's Jaffa and after they left, the people buried the Stargate. Cronus came and took the planet over, possibly due to its strategic position, and installed Sindar to rule over it, with the Stargate being reinstalled. The synthetic SG-1 came to the planet and were captured and Cronus returned.
