A Hazmat suit is protective clothing that shields the wearer from dangerous environments.

Overview

Some hazmat suits can protect the wearer from radiation as well as biological contaminants. Template:Cite It can also protect others from anything the person wearing it is carrying. History

SG-1 wore hazmat suits to protect themselves from the radiation that a Unity was emitting as its energy was deteriorating. Template:Cite SG-1 wore hazmat suits when they went to Argos to protect them from being infected with nanites. Template:Cite SG-1 had to quickly put on hazmat suits when they came across a dead Hankan and when medical teams arrived on Hanka to examine the dead, they wore hazmat suits as well.
