Kiva was a female Human and a Commander in the Lucian Alliance

Biography

She was the daughter of Masson, a warlord in the Alliance. She worked on gaining intelligence about the Icarus Project and had Colonel David Telford brainwashed to work with them. She would come to Earth to meet with Telford when needed. When Telford contacted them but didn't state the codeword - "Masson" - she knew it wasn't actually Telford and they captured him. She had Dannic torture them and the person soon revealed they were Nicholas Rush. The planet's core became unstable so she and others went through as well. After getting aboard, they broke out the gateroom, taking over part of the ship and capturing some of the Destiny expedition personnel. Kiva shot and killed Rivers as retribution for what she thought was a trap. She put Tamara Johansen to work on treating Varro who was shot in the invasion. Camile Wray negotiated for an exchange of prisoners - four Alliance soldiers for four captured civilians but as Kiva had only two civilians she sent over a military member and Rivers body. Kiva was told that Destiny was in rang of a Binary pulsar which was draining their shields and would soon kill them. She made a deal to allow the shields to be fixed for control of the ship. During this, she became suspcicious when a power relay went offline and went to find Telford working against her.
