Overview
The device is scans a body that passes through it to program a Mimic device to allow the wearer to take on their appearance. The device attaches a harness to the body passing through it to allow them to be hung up. Template:Cite
History
The aliens used this device to scan Stargate Command personnel and hang them up. Template:Cite The device was recovered after the aliens were stopped and it was sent to Area 51 for study. The mimic devices created at Area 51 with the scanner were not as efficient due to electromagnetic interference. Template:Cite
