Thor's Hammer

Overview

The device is an archway in the shape of a large hammer and when a Goa'uld or Jaffa attempt to pass through it causes them great pain. The pain is designed to force the Goa'uld to abandon its host in an attempt to escape. Template:Cite

History

Thor built the device on Cimmeria and placed it at the end of the Labyrinth so any Goa'uld or Jaffa that attempted to escape were killed, potentially allowing the host to escape alive. Kendra influenced her Goa'uld to come to Cimmeria, hoping for a quick death but ended up in the Labyrinth where Thor's Hammer drove it from her body. When Teal'c attempted to walk through it he was hurt and had to be pushed out by Jack O'Neill. O'Neill and Teal'c both had the idea to use Thor's Hammer to kill the Unas hunting them in the Labyrinth. Teal'c managed to hold the Unas in Thor's Hammer long enough to kill it, being pulled out by O'Neill so he wasn't killed as well. Template:Cite
