Sergeant Grogan is a male Tau'ri, a member of the United States Air Force, a member of Stargate Command and a member of SG-9.

Biography

He was chosen to take part in a training program for the SGC and joined Lt. Elliot, Lt. Jennifer Hailey and Satterfield as a team to train with. They were trained partially by SG-1 and during a training exercise, he shot and stunned Samantha Carter which allowed Daniel Jackson, who was pretending to be a Goa'uld, to stun the whole team. At the next exercise, he was shot and stunned by Jack O'Neill and he "died" during the exercise. When it was revealed that the SGC had been taken over by an alien force, he joined the others and O'Neill to infiltrate the SGC. He went with Satterfield to the archaeology lab where he got annoyed at her when she was looking around the office rather than performing their mission. When they assaulted Jackson, the alien leader, he was shot by a Zat'nik'tel by Jackson. After their explosives didn't go off, they entered the briefing room to learn it had all been another exercise. He was put on SG-9 and went to Latona to help with the negotiations with the Latonans. When the Goa'uld invaded the planet, he saw the rest of his team killed by the Jaffa and spent the night running from them before he stopped to make his stand but passed out and the Jaffa failed to find him. He was awoken the next day by SG-1 and took O'Neill to the Latonan city to meet with Marul. Grogan helped O'Neill sneak into the city and brought him to Marul, telling him that O'Neill was a friend. Grogan told O'Neill that the Latonans don't really know how all their technology works anymore. He tried to help O'Neill convince Marul to evacuate as many of his people as he could, telling him that the Goa'uld will take who they want as hosts. He and O'Neill were captured and brought to the rest of SG-1 to use them to surrender.
