Mimic memory device

Overview
The device allows the wearer to access the memories of someone in a harness that they are duplicating; if the harness's forehead piece is removed, the wearer loses access to the memories. They are programmed when a body is used in the Mimic device scanner. The device is used in conjunction with the Mimic devices to allow the wearer to take on the appearance of the scanned body. History
The aliens used their mimic devices to take on the appearance of SG-6 returning to Earth where they began to replace other members of Stargate Command. They brought a scanner to the SGC to make more of the devices. Samantha Carter examined one of the devices found on an alien replacing Jack O'Neill. O'Neill removed the harness's forehead piece from the alien replacing Dr. Janet Fraiser, who came to investigate why they lost their connection. Template:Cite
