Hive ship (Enemy at the Gate)

History

Todd instructed one of his underlings to work on integrating a Zero Point Module taken from Asuras to the power systems of a Hive ship. He eventually succeeded but turned against Todd. The Hive ship began to grow very large, developing a thick and near impenetrable hull as well as much more powerful weapons, increased sensor sensitivity and a faster and more efficient hyperdrive. It detected a cloaked Puddle Jumper and fired in its direction. It was attacked by the Daedalus but the Asgard Plasma beam weapons did little damage and the Hive opened a barrage on the Daedalus, depleting its shields. The Hive picked up a weak signal that came through a subspace rift from an alternate reality that contained the location of Earth. The Hive left immediately to go to the planet. At the edge of the Milky Way the Hive dropped out of hyperspace to regenerate its hull and was engaged in combat with the Apollo and the Sun Tzu and crippled both ships before continuing on its way. The Hive established an orbit around Earth's Moon and launched Darts to take out the Control chair that had been moved to Area 51. Once the chair destroyed the Hive began to move closer. John Sheppard flew an F-302 into the dart bay with a Nuclear bomb and the rest of his team and Major Evan Lorne came through the Stargate aboard. Atlantis arrived and blocked the Hive from reaching Earth, firing Drones at it to little effect. The Nuclear bomb inside was detonated and the Hive was destroyed. Template:Cite
